I've always drawn cartoons. My mum showed the first political one I ever did to the local paper, the Townsville Daily Bulletin (as it was known at the time). They put my photo in the paper, but they didn't publish the cartoon. Maybe because they didn't have scanners back then. Who knows? Ten years later I won the cartoon competiton held by the same paper. Alas, my fame was fleeting! But now I have this blog... (click on the pics to enlarge)...
